Lebanese Cooking

With much of it's traditional cuisine adapted from the cooking of journeying nomadic tribes, a unique culinary history has developed making the Lebanese kitchen on of the most popular of all Middle Eastern cuisines. In this class we will feast upon garlicky Swiss chard and lemon lentils, whipped hummus with minced lamb and sumac, chicken and rice pilaf with butter toasted almonds and orange blossom scented rice pudding with dried cherries and pistachioes.
